Master Thesis (Estimating the concentration of interleukin-23 and interleukin-17A in the origin of serums of psoriasis patients)
The master thesis of the female student , Hind Jaber Hassoun , at the College of Health and Medical Sciences dealt with the estimating of the concentration of interleukin-23, and interleukin-17A in the origin of serums of psoriasis patients in Baghdad. The thesis explained that Psoriasis is a common, chronic and inflammatory disease in which increases the proliferation and differentiation across sporadic cells that affect genetic and environmental factors alike.
The thesis recommended the importance of the measurement of interleukin IL-23 and interleukin IL-147. There are significant differences between the means of interleukin of the two types among psoriasis patients when compared with the levels of the average means of the similar interleukins of the healthy control group.
