The Institute of Technical Administration at MTU held a session on environmental developments entitled "Recent trends in the calculation of environmental costs".
The meeting discussed the concept of environmental costs and their definition and objectives in environmental reform, upgrading the environment to achieve sustainability and benefit, good environmental practices and regulations in accordance with the laws and social regulations to prevent the use of environmental damage and achieve green impact, and how to calculate the costs of environment, including the method of questionnaire. For the engineering method, it depends on the calculation of the cost of purchasing equipment to improve the environment. The session touched upon the types of environmental pollution and compliance with environmental regulations and achieve the standards of ISO and green environment.
The session aims for introducing participants to scientific developments on modern trends in the calculation of environmental costs and the implementation of modern environmental accounting instead of traditional methods for the purpose of reaching the best decisions.
The session was attended by specialists in environmental affairs as well as a remarkable number of employees.
